Scream is a Marvel Comics character created as one of five symbiote spawn forcibly extracted from Venom. Her first appearance was in Venom: Lethal Protector #4 (1993).
Born Donna Diego, she was a security guard chosen to be a test subject. The Life Foundation subjected her and others to a process that birthed five new symbiotes. Donna bonded with the yellow symbiote, becoming Scream.
Scream possessed powers similar to Venom, including superhuman strength, agility, and the ability to create tendrils. Unlike Venom, Scream could solidify her tendrils into weapons and project a sonic scream.
